Hi and welcome to my website about achieving financial independence!
After many years of feeling that I wasn’t in control of my finances and not knowing what was going on with my money and financial planning for the future, I have finally decided to take over the reins and make financial organization a priority in my life.
That sounds easier said than done. The problem I have found again and again is that without a clear, step-by-step guide, my resolutions always sound great on paper, but after a few weeks they gradually move to the back of my head, which ultimately means the slow death of my new project. (I am sure many can relate to this for various resolutions you might have had in the past!).
Although there are many fantastic resources and blogs available on the internet with lots of great ideas and personal finance, I felt I needed a clear description – a blueprint – of a journey from beginning to end which tells you exactly what to do in order to achieve financial organization and success. I was looking for a step by step description on how to achieve financial organization and independence, with a broken down action plan.
I never found one.
With this site I aim to fill that gap that I feel exists between financial theories and the reality of how to actually apply them to real life. My ultimate goal is to be in total control of my finances ánd help others on their journey at the same time.
On this mission I will be identifying, describing and implementing 100 financial baby steps in order to achieve my mission. The reason I chose 100 is that I want it to be long enough to really get to my end goal (10 steps would not ever be enough!) and also allow for more complex steps to be broken down into smaller doable steps. I like to see it as an online course, in which little by little we get closer to our goals of becoming financial ninja’s in control of our finances.
So please hop along, join me on my journey and make financial organization your personal mission too!
Congratulations Inge! I will do my best to keep up with your guide, as financial organisation has become a big priority for me too.
